Post-Water Damage Remodel

When Janet and Carl Romano came home  to find her dishwasher leaking, she knew the kitchen remodel she planned to do in a few years would have to happen immediately.

Her dishwasher had leaked water into the surrounding cabinetry and knee wall, causing extensive damage and allowing mold to grow in the drywall.

Not good. The water created enough visible damage that she called SRQuality Kitchens and Baths for an estimate and we expedited the process to get started right away!  The inside of the wall did prove to be mold ridden. Our team of demo professionals removed the entire knee wall and built a brand new one, free of any mold or water damage. Janet and Carl wanted to have a large flat counter height peninsula to give the kitchen an up to date look for entertaining.

Then the transformation began! Janet and Carl chose a rich cinnamon glaze cabinet from our forevermark line. We took out the double oven and gave her two tall pantry cabinets with a special lift for her standing mixer. She wanted her kitchen to not only be beautiful but to make sense. We installed a spice rack next to her range and a pull out double trash can cabinet to keep the trash out of the way and hidden.

And here is the final product! A deliciously warm kitchen with a stunning counter height peninsula showcasing the gorgeous granite Janet picked out and a modern single bowl sink and faucet. LED undercabinet lighting and crown molding provide the finishing touches.

Thank you Janet and Carl for your business and for being all-around good people. We are so happy you love your kitchen! Say hello to the pups for us!
